Marathon Training Day 77

No repeats of last week’s long run, thank goodness. Alarm went off at 4 am and I was at my run destination by 5:15. Armed with my Nunn bottle and hydration pak, I headed out. A friend gave me an idea with regards to my hydration pak. I was told that maybe if I slipped spoke small ice packs behind my water pouch, it might keep water cooler longer and also keep me cool. It’s still very much dark at 5:15 so my headlamp got some work. Although running through a wooden park while it’s dark is not ideal, if it means cooler temps, I’m game. The place I ran is basically big ball of hills, so great for training purposes but definitely no fun running.  I pushed through 14 nonstop miles with 800 ft elevation. #marathontraining
